About This Trail
This short drive will give you a glimpse of the area and a idea of what other trails are like. Pick a spot you like and dry camp anywhere. The area is fun for ATVs, UTVs and dirt bikes. The portion of the historic Twenty-Mule Team Route that was retraced was the western half. You should visit the fee area of Calico Ghost Town. The road is relatively smooth. It's suitable for all stock SUVs. Stay off the western half of the road when it rains. The clay surface on the steep sections is very slippery after a rain.
