About This Trail
This is a good hike through the Angeles Forest. This is a wonderful high country hiking area in Southern California. This trail is fairly straightforward and there is a lot of steady up grade to the top. The elevation gain is 350 feet and the mileage is only half that. It's worth it if you're a peak bagging person. The view from Baden Powell is amazing even on a day with fires or haze. You can follow along the ridgeline if you want. The trail has a lot of great features, one of which is that you can see where you are going and where you have been. That always shows a great trail.
