About This Trail
A great hiking jaunt that ignores the crowds. From the spot, Follow Scott Gulch. The old Hoosier Pass road is accessible for a short amount of time until the road's trail goes through a cornfield and comes back to the road. Proceed up the steep hillside along Scott Creek despite not even having a trail. The creek goes under the saddle of a hill. The route leads to the saddle where you will see the rest of it. You can go north on the Other side if you follow the advice of the quote: descent into the valley on the other side. A ridge will be created when you reach the bottom. This ridge leads down from the right outside of a large knoll. You have to go left at the top of the hill to get to the summit.
