About This Trail
This is a challenge on Mt Herman's east face. The lower section of the route winds through the forest. The upper section of the route has a variety of options between fun and less demanding walk-arounds. The GPX track is highly recommended. The lower section is clearly marked, but the upper section is a mystery. Bring hiking poles. It's steep, and depending on the tail taken, it may need a fixed line in one section. It is recommended that microspikes are used for wintry conditions.
