About This Trail

There are hiking trails and a boat launch within the confines of the Mohawk River State Park. The New York state purchased the now famous Schenectady Museum Natural Preserve. The starting point for a number of trails through the woods can be found at the Mohawk Hudson Hike-Bike trail which runs through the park. Terrain is variable and can be found in forests, fields, ravines. There are a few hills but the trails are not too steep. A lot of the streams have bridges. There are some older signs that give information on the trees they are on.
