About This Trail

The Trail consists of Grattan Family Trail, Frank's Trail and Paul's Trail. The Lisha Kill Preserve is a rare example of an old growth forest in a developed area. Some of the trees are over 200 years old. Route 7 was supposed to go through this forest. It was saved thanks to the efforts of local residents. The trail crosses a creek on a bridge. You will reach a T-section soon. Take a right and go along the edge of the ravine. The trail begins at the level of the stream and goes down to the T-section. Take a right turn and head back to the parking area.
