Miuka Falls (Cheohee Falls) and Secret Falls via Winding Stairs Trail

The Winding Stairs Trail is one of the best beginner trails in northwest South Carolina. The path that leads to the northern entrance of the Cherry Hill Recreation Area is an easy hike. It is not as easy to get to Secret Falls. The incline is difficult to walk on due to the mud and leaves. If you're prepared for a tough climb back to the trail, getting down and into the water is a good way to go. The waterfall is beautiful. It is possible to see a good portion of the falls without obstruction when standing next to the river. The hike out is relatively easy. The trail is a nice addition to the day. The waterfall is beautiful and worth seeing.
