The guide begins at the end of the Warren Wagon Road. The Warren Wagon Road goes all the way to Warren, Idaho. The gravel road goes to Burgdorf, Idaho and the Salmon River. There is a lot of parking on the south side of the "Y". It is 16 miles from here to Warren. The road is good to all the way to Warren. It is better to use 4X4 than it is to use FR . The best time to view wildlife in the meadow is at dawn and dusk. The grass is green in July and August. The area has been burned many times by lightning.
