About This Trail
The Meccacopia Trail is a popular off-road route that leads to the Mecca Hills. The Meccacopia Trail's central portion is closed to motorized vehicle use from June 1 to September 30 to protect wildlife access. There is no cross-country travel allowed in motorized vehicle travel. The open route MC154 is rated more difficult than novice skills and may challenge the average user with some obstacles, but nothing extreme. It is a good place for staging visitors who can access the Bradshaw Trail, hike to the Grotto caves and connect to Box Canyon Road.
