About This Trail
This small parkland is made up of wetlands and grassland. The Al McNabney Marsh is the main focal point of the preserve. The marsh is on the Pacific Flyway and it is an important refuge for birds. It is a great place to see all types of birds, and you should bring your binoculars, field guides, and drinking water. The trail leading from the parking lot to the grassy trail leads uphill and you can see the marsh below. Birds and other wildlife can be seen from this vantage point. You can park at the main parking lot and walk through the cattle gate. Go through the gate and onto the trail. Stay to the right when the trail forks. Stay on the trail as it loops around back to the parking lot.
