About This Trail
The National Forest Service now requires a $3 per machine fee for the marked trails. The west side of the highway is across from Mack's Pines. The east side of Highway 7 has no permit required for the trails. The permits can be purchased at the fee box. The park charges a parking fee for visitors who just ride for the day, which can be as high as $30 for a trailer over 25 feet. You must purchase a Forest Service permit if you are riding on the marked trails. For more information, visit: www.macks-pines.com
