About This Trail
The National Forest Service requires a $3 per machine fee for the marked trails. That is the west side of the highway. The east side of Highway 7 has no requirement for a permit for the trails. The permits can be purchased at the fee box. The park charges $5 per vehicle or a vehicle with a trailer under 18ft, $10 for a trailer 18-22ft, and$15 for a trailer over 25ft.
