Lower Pine Creek Waterfall Trail

The hike takes you to a waterfall on Pine Creek. It is required to boulder-hop or wade. The trail is not maintained or listed on any park maps. The first switchback is at the Lower Pine Creek trail. Pine Creek comes from a spring near the Great Arch. The seasonal rain can increase the flow. You will have to cross Pine Creek a few times. Most people will be able to keep their feet dry. THere's a quote about keeping an eye out for tadpoles in the stream. There are two ponds that are big enough to swim in before the waterfall. Lower Pine Creek Falls is 15 feet tall. The pond is knee to waist deep.
