About This Trail
It's recommended to have an offline map. Users said the trails were not marked well. The starting point for this hike is at a gravel parking area. The route goes downhill in a series of washes before it reaches the Colorado River. There are palm trees on the bank. There is a waterfall upstream in a side canyon when the river levels are low. The route has a lot of boulder scrambling. It can be done as a loop hike or an out-and-back hike. The total elevation gain is more than 500 feet on the return leg.
