About This Trail
The intersection of UT Hwy 44 and Highway 191 is just north of Vernal. You can travel another 10 miles if you turn right at the well-signed intersection. It is possible to get to the access parking area after crossing over Flaming Gorge Dam. It is necessary to walk down a series of stairs above the river to get to the boat launch ramp. The trail starts near the restrooms. It is necessary for parking to have a Recreation Pass.
