About This Trail
One of the best scenic workouts in the area is in the Sierra Azul OSP. The largest OSP in the San Jose/ Los Gatos Area describes Sierra Azul as being rugged with steep terrain. The Limekiln trail heads past the parking lot and goes uphill to the junction of Limekiln and Priest Rock. The real work begins after the left turn on Priest Rock. The climb becomes more difficult all the way to the Kennedy trail junction. On a clear day, the views from this spot are to be seen from San Francisco to the North and from the rolling hills to the South. You should enjoy the open space. It should be kept clean.
