Leslie Gulch, Steamboat Ridge, and 3 Fingers Gulch OHV Trail

Unload your ATVs at the gravel pit on Leslie Gulch Road, mount up, and head out. Continuing stop in Dago Gulch, there you can explore some of the rock crevices and overhangs. During your drive, stop often to view the incredible rock cliffs and formations! Eventually you will arrive at the Slocum Campground and then at the very low water Lake Owyhee. Travel north in the dry lake bed and you may see Boy Scouts camping here (it's quite a popular spot for them) where the road ended at a rock cliff at the lake waterline. Then drive past the high and dry boat ramp to School House Gulch and up it to the locked gate. As you return on the Leslie Gulch Road, pausing to sightsee and take photographs, head north on the Steamboat Ridge Road until it ends at the Rock Corral Wild Horse Trap. The wild horse trap was constructed by using the natural rock formations and filling in any gaps with rock fencing, boards, poles, and wire. Again backtrack and drive to Three Fingers Gulch where you can hike to the Indian Cave.
