About This Trail
The Leon Levy Preserve is made up of forested hills, ravine, and a stone mansion. Ninety acres of land is within the watershed of New York Citys Croton Sewage Treatment Plant. The preserve was granted a civic easement on by the town to ensure its permanent preservation. 90 acres in the New York City Watershed were given a conserved easement to the New York City Environmental Protection Department.
