About This Trail

Imported description

The gravel rail road trail was used to build the Hover Dam. The rail trail is the only part of the trail that isn't paved. You can stay on the trails the entire way if you bike ride from the campground. It was not possible to drive to the trail head. There are interpretive signs on the rail trail. The trail does not connect to the Visitors Center or the Hover Dam. You need to lock your bike and walk the last 100 yards to them. They are not far away. The views of the lake are amazing. The flowers were beautiful.
