About This Trail
The trail begins until you get to the Chatter Creek bridge. The trail will get much harder to navigate the next 1.5 miles down the west side of the creek. It is possible to level out the trail at 2.5 miles as you travel through a valley. The trail once again starts to go up the side of a ridge and take in the views of Grindstone Mountain. You can get to the pass at 4.5 miles from the trail. The trail drops down another side of the pass, then climbs one mile to Lake Edna.
