About This Trail

The trail to Indian Creek Camp is a popular one in the Dick Smith Wilderness. It's not often clear how to get to Meadow Camp. People continue to hike past the end. The trail starts along camuesa and goes north. It can be difficult to follow a path with rock rose. It follows Indian Creek and can be quite pleasant to look at. The Lower Buckhorn camp is one of three established camps along the way. Many hikers continue to work their way up the creek to waterfalls, and even to Pens Camp, even though the official trail stops at Indian.
