About This Trail

The trail starts north of the Mount Rainier park on USFS forest land, and goes south for a mile before entering the national park. You will pass the old preserved cabin after that. A permit is needed to camp. The trail ends at a junction. You can go a bit further to get to the Sunrise visitor centre.
