Grist Mill, Sawmill Branch, Santee Branch, Cascade Falls, Ilchester Trail Loop

The New section of the Grist Mill Trail is open and all the rest of the trail is closed. The trees in the new section are all babies and you are in total light. It is recommended that you carry plenty of water to drink during the summer. The trail is blacktop. You are hiking between the two roads. The section where the bridge is washing out should be crossed with care. Rocks have been piled up to walk across but this spot can flood. The signs for floods are posted.
