About This Trail

Imported description
The new section of the Grist Mill Trail is open and all the other ones are closed. There are babies in the new section, so you are in total darkness. If you want to drink in the summer, be sure to have plenty of water. The trail is blacktop. If you are hiking between the two. The section where the bridge is washing out should be crossed with care. There are lots of rocks to walk across but it can flood during a storm. There are flood signs. This loop of mine was very short because of time restrictions. It was a good climb even though it was short. You have to go back up after the loop is all down. The views on top of the Ilchester Tunnel are great. The view from the bottom of the river where the Bloede Dam once stood is great.
