About This Trail
The Recreation Area has camping, picnic tables, fire pits, toilet, boat ramp and parking. There are 16 single and 3 double mowed sites which have a table, fire ring and lantern post. The campground is away from the water. A campground host is in the summer. There is a vault toilet in the campground. Drinking water and trash bins are available in the summer. Hikers, canoeists, and fishing can be done at the Greer Crossing Recreation Area. There is a picnic area near the boat access. There are four individual sites with a grill and one or more tables in the picnic area. The boating access is one of the most popular launch sites. There are many fish to choose from, including rainbow trout, small mouth bass and sunfish.
