Imported description
A long distance bike route between Cumberland, MD and Pittsburgh, PA is used. The GAP trail goes between the C&O canal towpath in Georgetown, Washington D.C. and the abandoned rail beds. The C&O Canal is a muddy surface after a rain. Road bikes aren't recommended.
