About This Trail
The hike down the Grand Canyon is fun. Discussing hexagonal basalt formations and great views. It is only 80 miles from St. George to the trail head. The drive takes 3 hours. It takes 1.5 hours for the last 10 miles because of the rough terrain. The hike is less than 2 miles out and back from the rim to the river.
