About This Trail
For the first mile and a quarter one can walk on the sand for a half mile, then the trail becomes rocky and more and more larger rocks can be seen at the end. The trail is narrow and steep up to the three mile marker, so you need to know how to place your feet and avoid falls. It is easier to climb the rocky climbs up to three and a third miles. One can rate this hike as challenging.
