About This Trail
It was a very scenic ride. There are a few bad spots that require good judgement and skill. The Ghost Ranch was named after Richard and Sally Thomas, who vanished in 1896. A neighbor who went to visit found a stove, food, and clothes on the table, but no Thomas couple. Sally was reported to be haunting the area after a human skull was found two years later. There are reports of her wailing and even of her helping passers by.
