About
The only archaeological park in Idaho is located along the Snake River. The basalt melon gravels that were deposited by the Bonneville flood are 100 to 10,000 years old. Visitors enjoy throwing darts and learning about the Paleolithic and Archaic lifeways. The historic Guffey Railroad Bridge is a great place to take a tour of southwest Idaho's mining and railroad history.
