About This Trail
The trail from the bottom of the valley up up the mountains to amazing views. The middle portion of the trek is moderate, and the summit is not as breathtaking as you think, but it is worth the trek. James Freel squatted at the base of the westernmost peak of the Sierra Nevada, dubbed "Freel Peak", and it is the highest peak in the lake's region; he named it after him. It is a given that Freel Mountain's peak is easy to reach and Job's Peak is just a short distance away. It might be possible to restrict vehicle access. It is advisable to check the alert and notice pages of the forest before your trip.
