East Tensleep Lake

A great trail leads up to East Tensleep Lake. The trail gets moderate use mostly in the form of ATV and off road vehicles. The trail can be reached with a truck or higher clearance car. It is a must to have a high clearance vehicle with 4 wheel drive when going up to the lake. There are several steep rocky inclines that must be avoided. It's a nice drive back to the lakes once you get up and on the top. There are lots of places to camp if you have a tent. You can go fishing from this trail. It sees increased use in the fall.
