About This Trail

The lakes are on the east side of Lake Chelan. It is possible to see the trail in a valley on the way to Horeshead Pass. There is an overlook looking down on Lower Eagle Lake. The overlook leads to a junction in the trail. If you want to go to Upper Eagle Lake, follow another mile down to Lower Eagle. October is a great month to see golden larch trees surrounding the lakes and peaks. The trail has hikers, horses and bikes on it.
