About This Trail

Imported description
There are two ravines through the San Rafael Reef that offer a good variety of rock textures. The San Rafael Swell is where the Ding & Dang Canyon loop hike is located. The canyons are referred to as 1st and 2nd Canyon. The hike is a great way to experience slot canyons. The loop is on the edge of technical. It would be helpful to have a short rope and some rope skills. If you want to bring dogs through the canyon, you should only do so if they are small enough to be carried the majority of the time.
