About This Trail

You can start at either the Thomas Walker parking lot or the Daniel Boone parking lot. If you start at Thomas Walker parking, you take the T.W. The Wilderness Road Trail is a short trail. The last half mile of the Object Lesson Road can be used for different scenery. The original path that settlers took in the 1700s is retraced by the Wilderness Road Trail. You can't help but to think of all the people, pets, and livestock that have followed the same path. It is a great hike for people who are interested in history.
