About This Trail
This trip heads over to the West Horse Basin Reservoir and the 45 Windmill. The OWYhee River Wilderness corridor two track road is in good shape compared to other roads. Take the wilderness boundary to the Middle Windmill and then descend into the canyon at the Homer Wells Reservoir. The State Line Camp is at the intersection of the Four Corners-State Line Road. The road to the State Line Camp is in good shape. Take pictures at the State Line and check out the road from Homer Wells to it. It is still rocky and rough, but it is easier to navigate by a 4X4 vehicle. The only maintenance the two track roads in this area ever receive is from a vehicle traveling over them and flattening the vegetation. They are very rough.
