Columbia Rock Trail [CLOSED]

There is a short steep hike to Columbia Rock with amazing views of the valley. The Columbia Rock trailhead is located in the camp. Take a short quarter mile walk to the trailhead if you get off the shuttle at the #7 stop. The part of the Upper Sierra Falls trail that's full of switchbacks can be a challenge for the knees. The trail is shaded. It takes about an hour to get to Columbia Rock. If you have no issues getting to this point and you have the time and energy, you can go the other 2.6 miles to the top. If you don't want to go all the way to the top, you can hike past Columbia Rock.
