About This Trail
The majority of visitors park along the road and hike up the dirt road to the trail. The dirt road to the upper trailhead can be reached with a 4WD vehicle. It was recommended that a high clearance vehicle be used. There is a sign on the dirt road that says no motor vehicles past this point. The road will continue to the right. It's a good idea to take a left and go to Chihuahua Lake.
