About This Trail

Imported description
A cascade is hiding in the wilderness. It would be best to view this fall in late winter and early spring. This trail is located in the Cherokee National Forest and shares a trail with Buckeye Falls. You should keep an eye out for horseback riders as you drive to the trail head. There is a small camping area to the left of the first 1.2-1.3 miles. If you look beyond the creek there is a trail behind that area. This is the trail that leads to Chigger Branch. It can be overgrown in the warmer months. The trail splits at a point during the hike. The one going up a hill goes into the creek. Both end up in the same spot. It could be wading up stream or staying dryer.
