About This Trail
The highest mountain in the range has a permanent snow field. Go up into the snow fields from the parking lot. The easiest route is to stay on the left side of the basin. You can see a trail that leads to the NE ridge when you enter the basin below Castle Peaks summit. Go to the ridge and follow the ridge the rest of the way to the summit. Don't stay on the top of the ridge if you follow the trails that lead off to one side.
