About This Trail

The loop route goes through a network of mountain roads. It is surrounded by residential property. We entered via the road because it has parking for unlicensed vehicles. The best time to go is late June- early October. It is located in the Arapaho National Forest. Clear Creek Ranger district is very rocky and slow-going. The most aggressive stock SUVs should only be attempted. It was brutal, but we've done it in our stock Grand Cherokee.
