About This Trail
Have fun in this historic neighborhood. Boston is a great place to introduce kids to the city, but they should tackle it one neighborhood at a time. It was a bay near the Charles River. It was considered a health hazard because it was more of a swamp. It was filled in and developed over a period of 30 years. It's something to think about when you are walking around.
