About This Trail
During the season, the road leading to the trailhead is closed. If you want to find more information, check with the park. Blanca Lake Trail is a great mountain trail that offers fantastic views along the way. You can enjoy a great view of Glacier Peak and Columbia Peak when you get to Blanca Lake on a clear day. The trail heads to the southern shore of the azure lake at Virgin Lake. There are waterfalls that feed the lake from the Columbia Glacier. There was a road before last year. The road has been washed away and there are no plans to fix it. It's best to leave the park and walk to the trailhead. The new trail is clearly shown on the map.
