About This Trail
A beautiful high-altitude out and back hike surrounded by tall mountains and beautiful views of multiple lakes and meadow. The hike is enjoyable because of the wildflowers and bird species. There are still some burnt trees in the landscape, but it is now regrowth after a forest fire a decade ago. The trail is perfect from late spring through early fall, but you may encounter snow during the Spring. There is a fork in the trail at the start of the hike. Take the left fork and you will get trail109. This trail will lead you to the lake. The trail is used by dirt bikers during the summer. It's also a good idea to use lots of bug spray. There is a lack of winter trail markings and significant snowfall.
