About This Trail
A hike up a jeep road leads to a stream for the first mile. This road can be difficult at times. You arrive in a meadow surrounded by aspen with remains of a mining town at the top. Cut through a meadow on the left side of the road when the road reaches the cabins. It was said to stay low. If you go up the slope toward the ridge, you'll see fallen trees. You can reach the saddle between the ridge and the peak if you stay level. Continue up the mountain. Cut to the left after returning to the saddle. You can climb up to another unnamed summit by following a trail behind the ridge. Go down the slope and catch the same road that leads down to the trail.
