About This Trail
There are some navigation issues near Eaglehead Mountain that can be avoided on the Big Creek to Porcupine Creek Meadows hike. Hikers can go through the rocks and short climbs on the cutoff between Big Creek trail and Porcupine Creek trail but horse riders should head north and west to reach Eaglehead Mountain. The trail down into Onion Basin/Porcupine creek can be difficult to navigate.
