Awosting Falls via Trapps Trail

The walk starts at the West Trapps parking lot and ends at the Awosting Falls within the park. Take the West Trapps Connector east from the parking lot. The bridge goes over US Rte 44/NY Rte 55. After crossing a paved road, you can follow the Awosting Falls Carriage Road. This is similar to Peters Kill and the Awosting Falls. Retracing your steps is what you should do to return. In the winter time, Trapps Road is occasionally groomed for cross-country skiing, but is never closed to hiking.
