About This Trail
The Amesbury Riverwalk goes by the Powow River along the backside of a residential area and through a light manufacturing area. The trail is a great 2.5 mile trail that is used as a bike route but also as a walk. There are three informational signs about the history of the railway in Amesbury on the trail. Future plans may link this to Salisbury and the rail trail between these three towns. This trail is accessible in a wheelchair.
