About This Trail

Imported description
The trail is located inside the area. All off-road vehicles are permitted in the park. The elevation range is from 2,800 to 5000 feet. The trail goes around the base of Watkins Peak and goes through many side canyons. The views from high points are good, but most of the trip is not scenic. It is a desert with a lot of steep, rocky climbs. The likelihood of tire damage is increased by large, sharp rocks. High clearance and differential lockers are required. There are no stock vehicles.
