About this unit
Central Rio Grande County wrapping Del Norte and the upper Pinos Creek drainage above the historic Summitville mine. Pinyon-juniper and aspen step up through Douglas-fir to spruce-fir at 11,000 feet. Predominantly Rio Grande National Forest with BLM on the lower benches.
